CKC Vetch, Peas and Lentils

CKC VETCH contains a unique dual formulation of Rhizobium bacteria – Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar viaiae – which promote plant performance by providing inoculated crops with Nitrogen (N) through their BNF (bacterial nitrogen fixation) activity. CKC VETCH is used to:

  • Improve Nitrogen (N) availability;
  • Improve stress response and plant vigour;
  • Increase absorption capacity of water and nutrients Supports plant protection;
  • Vetch, peas, lentil seeds, string beans, broad beans (habas) and big lentils.

Mode of Action

CKC VETCH contains Rhizobium leguminosarum which provides plants with bio-available nitrogen (N), promoting root and vegetative development. N is required for chlorophyll production and amino acid synthesis.

Application

First prepare a slurry with inoculant and 150 cc of clean water with 2 to 3 spoons of sugar. Use eccentric shaft rotating drums with interior fixed blades. It is recommended to place the seeds half the capacity of the drum and then apply half of the slurry smoothly rotated. Add the remaining broth and seeds; gently roll the drum for uniform application across the surface of the treated seeds. Leave to air in cool place away from sunlight and proceed with planting. Calibrate the planter with seed treated for it to flow more slowly

Application rates:

  • Seed Dressing
    • Vetch, Peas, Lentils, String Beans - 170g/25kg seed

Storage

Store CKC VETCH in a cool dry place. May be kept for up to 18 months in an original an opened container maintained at 4° C.
